0R1620 RECYCLING/SCRAP/WASTE EQUIPMENT
Thermal Reductor Rot Waster Incinerator Sys for Rubbish,Chem,Solid Waste,1982 Sev. Avail Ref: 7634

Waste material disposal

Model/Type - Solid/Gaseous Waste Disposal System
Age: 1982

General Purpose
This system will process rubbish and solid waste materials through a
high temperature, combustible, thermal chamber.

SPECIFICATIONS AND DESCRIPTION
System capacity:
100-125# per hour of rubbish and solid waste
35-45 gallons per hour of contaminated aqueous solutions
Material capability:
Liquid-solid-gaseous type materials
Designed operation: Rotating reduction chamber, large afterburner
Note: The smoke and particulate generated in the rotating chamber are
further burned in the thermal oxidation chamber and drawn through a
wet scrubber for cleaning prior to passage through the chimney to the
atmosphere. The induced draft fan draws air into the system and
maintains a negative pressure throughout.

Designed principal of operation:
The thermal reduction chamber consumes material thermally
in a rotating chamber (waste materials are delivered to the chamber)
Rotary Chamber is refractory lined, cylindrical in design -
Operating temperature is 1000-1400 deg. F (burner oil or gas fired)
System contains second or afterburner chamber to dispose of
unconsumed particulate matter from the first cycle.
The thermal oxidation chamber operates @ 1600-2200 deg. F -
Volatile products resulting from the thermal reduction process are
drawn into this chamber to be further oxidized.

Components and features:
Pumpless Venturi PV Scrubber unit - stainless and fiberglass const,
Operator control panel for system maintenance and operation

Controls include thermal couples, temperature and control burner
devices and other monitoring units.
Frame and rotating drive unit, refractory chamber of high temperature
alloy construction
Burners - Operate on Oil, natural gas or propane
Include safety and control devices, thermo couples and ductwork
Monitor control and temperature
Waste loading and unloading - The opening to the thermal reduction
chamber is heated with a hinged, refractory lined door to allow
charging the solid wastes. Liquids are charged through a pipe at the
opening end in this chamber.
Other items included in system - Fans, stacks, operator controls,
switches and electrical devices, scrubber water make up, temperature
controls, electrical panels
System dimensions and overall size:
Overall dimensions: 12' high (less scrubber)\\ 12' wide and
11-20' front to rear including boiler
Chimney design requirement: Nominal 20" dia. - stainless steel type
Stack height required - 25' from base to top
Scrubber water makeup unit: 5-7 GPM level controlled
Approx. gross shipping wt: 22,000 lbs.
Electrical Requirements:
10 KVA - 460 Volt, 3 phase - 60 hz./ 1 KVA - 120V - Single phase 60 hz
Burners - 1.0 million BTU per hour for reduction chamber
1.0 million BTU per hour for oxidation chamber
Fuel Consumption Data: Estimates only:
No. 2 fuel oil, approx. 15 GPH \\ Natural gas approx.2,000 cu.ft p/hr
Temperature controls: Minneapolis/Honeywell Diaplak
Utility Requirements: Electrical input - 208 volts (25 KVA)
Fuel Requirements: Propane or waste gas @ 1.8 x 10
BTU per hour for each burner max. gas pressure - 8-14" WC
Combustion Systems: Two gas fired modulated burners rated at
1.8 million BTU per hour or 3.6 million BTU per hour for entire system

Water Requirement: 6 GPM

CONDITION: Very good condition - the unit has been completely
re-conditioned and is in very good condition. Currently in storage
ready for inspection and immediate delivery.
