SPECIFICATIONS & DESCRIPTION:

General Operation of the System: Shredder consists of (3) separate
shredders & a dryer unit. Work is processed thru two pre-shredding
operations and a final shredder to achieve shredded materials which
would pass thru a 3/4" screen. Work is transferred through the system
via conveyors. The system was custom designed to process Aluminum
Strip materials which were presented to the first pre-shredder as a
large 'Ball' of Aluminum chips. System can be operated in automatic or
manual modes. Production Capacity: over 1000#/hr

Conveyor system: (1) 17" x 20' rebuilt steel-belt feed conveyor
(1) 20" x 24' rebuilt steel-belt feed conveyor equipped with an Air
Control Cylinder for two-way directional drop-out
(1) 12" x 12' Screw Auger conveyor equipped with cyclone & vari-speed
drive
(1) Fabricated two-directional chip slide shoots for feeding
(2) loading conveyors
(2) Rebuilt PRAB 17" x 40' Drag-Out steel-belt conveyors for automatic
loading the material directly into truck trailers - Loading both
trailers can take place simultaniously and handling with two
different types of materials. This loading system is equipped
w/adjustable photo-cell alarm controls.
Reclamet 42"/10HP Centrifugal Chip Wringer with sludge auger & dryer
- drys with up to 95% efficiency
Equipped with a sludge & coolant recovery tank
Coolant System: Super Heavy Duty Filtration Sys w/(3) types of filters
& (6) automatic oil skimmers/unused
Double Screw Auger for chip feed system: 12" x 8' (each screw)
Equipped with large hopper and 5 HP new drive - This is a spare auger
used to increase output
Electronics & Controls: Allen Bradley Model #SLK-501 CPU Controller
unit - equipped with automated safety devices & alarms along with
(2) emergency system 'Stop' buttons - and safety guarding.

ELECTRICS: The system is wired for: 440V / 3 ph / 60 Hz operation

CONDITION: The system is in very good condition - set-up and operating
in plant. It was installed last in 1999 as a custom alumimun chip
shredding system - most components were rebuilt or new at the time
