Palmgren's 8 inch x 18 inch manual surface grinder is an
indispensable metalworking machine for toolrooms as well as
production applications to produce high-quality close
exacting tolerances and flat surfaces on workpieces. This
fully flexible surface grinder is quite, efficient and is an
excellent choice when grinding soft to hardened or annealed
ferrous metals.

minimize vibration while maximizing rigidity and accuracy
* High precision cartridge type spindle with lubricated for
life multiple anti-friction bearings that are radially and
axially pre-loaded for quiet vibration free operation and
longer spindle life
* The spindle bearings are class 7 (P4) super precision
angular contact ball bearings which have been accurately
measured, selected and pre-loaded and then assembled in a
temperature controlled room to assure stable noise free
rotation
